Summer Reading Update
So, these are all the books I've finished in 2018, so far. We're at 33. And I was about half-way through my recap and then I finished a few more books and threw the whole thing off.
Here's the plan for the next little bit.
I've got 47 books left to read this year and the next four in the line-up are:
-The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing
-Florida by Lauren Groff (for OE Book Club on August 14th)
-Ireland by Frank Delaney
-Inspired by Rachel Held Evans
(at least all four of these are in my physical possession. Also, I might read the book for the national Barnes & Noble book club on August 8th.)
From there I've got a lot of books listed on my 2018 Want to Read list.
Next up on the blog will be:
-A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas
-The Girl in the Tower by Katherine Arden
-The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher
-March Vol I-III by Rep. John Lewis
-A recap of a few short stories
-The Wicked + The Divine/Paper Girls reviews
-The Three Dark Crowns Trilogy review (books 1 and 2)
-Sourdough by Robin Sloan
And then from there, we'll see what happens. I've read a couple of poetry collections, too, but those might be difficult to review. Other than they are powerful and wonderful and you should read them, too. Done ✓.
I have you read any of these books? Let me know what you think in the comments below. Any suggestions to join the 2018 TBR? (Garrett, The Shadow of the Wind is on there! I bought it this weekend.)
